Overview
VialMetric is a local-first concentration calculator. It helps users calculate mg/mL and mcg/mL concentration from mass and final solution volume values entered by the user from a clinician, pharmacist, manufacturer, medication label, or medication instructions.
VialMetric is a math-only concentration calculator. It does not provide medical advice, prescribe medication, recommend dosing, provide administration instructions, determine compatibility, determine sterility, determine solubility, or replace instructions from a licensed clinician or pharmacist.
## Target Concentration Planner
VialMetric includes a Target Concentration Planner that calculates final solution volume from user-entered total mass and target concentration values.
The Target Concentration Planner does not choose, recommend, or validate target concentrations. Users should enter only target concentration values provided by a clinician, pharmacist, manufacturer, medication label, or other qualified professional source.
The Target Concentration Planner does not provide preparation instructions, dosing instructions, administration instructions, treatment guidance, schedules, frequency calculations, or amount-to-use calculations.
## Information VialMetric Stores
VialMetric stores app data locally on the user's device.
Stored local data may include:
- user-entered mass values during the current app session
- user-entered final solution volume values during the current app session
- calculated concentration values shown during the current app session
- saved concentration records created by the user
- saved concentration names or titles
- calculated mg/mL and mcg/mL values for saved concentrations
- safety gate acceptance preference and timestamp
- app settings preferences
- Remove Ads entitlement cache, if a purchase is confirmed or restored
- ad consent or privacy-choice status handled through Google consent tools where required
- existing local saved rows from earlier builds, if present on an upgraded device
Saved concentration storage remains local to the device.
## Current Account and Storage Posture
VialMetric does not currently provide a VialMetric account system or automatic VialMetric cloud synchronization.
Saved concentrations, recent calculations, notes, supported comparison values, review-reminder settings, and import data are processed locally unless the user explicitly exports or shares content through Android's system tools.
VialMetric does not use app-owned analytics and does not store this local data on a VialMetric-operated remote server.
VialMetric does not use user-entered names, notes, concentrations, comparison values, or reminder settings to create public popularity rankings, dosage trends, recommendations, advertising profiles, or public datasets.
Some Google services used by the app, including Google Mobile Ads, Google consent tools, and Google Play Billing, may process device, usage, diagnostic, billing, or advertising-related data as needed to provide their services.
## Safety Gate Preference
VialMetric includes a safety onboarding gate. When a user accepts the required safety confirmations, the app stores that acceptance locally so the gate does not appear on every launch.
Users can reset the safety gate in Settings.
## Android Backup
Android backup is disabled for VialMetric in the current MVP. The app is not designed to back up local app data to Google Drive or Android cloud backup services.
## Recent Calculations
VialMetric may store recent calculation values locally on the user's device to make it easier to reopen or save previous calculations. Recent calculations are not automatically uploaded to VialMetric, Joii Luxx, or a VialMetric-operated server.
Users can clear recent calculations from within the app. Recent calculations are used only to support the app's local calculation and review features.
## VialMetric Backup and Import
VialMetric allows users to create a local .vialmetric backup file. Backup creation occurs only when initiated by the user.
A backup may contain user-created app data such as:
- saved concentration records;
- user-entered names and notes;
- locally stored calculation values;
- supported comparison or target values;
- record timestamps;
- supported review-reminder settings.
VialMetric does not automatically upload backup files to Joii Luxx or to a VialMetric-operated server.
The user chooses where a backup file is saved or shared. If the user selects a third-party storage, file-management, messaging, or cloud-storage service, that service handles the file according to its own privacy practices.
When importing a .vialmetric file, VialMetric reads the user-selected file locally, validates it, and displays an import preview before the user confirms a merge or replacement operation.
VialMetric does not import data without user confirmation.
## Calculation Sharing
VialMetric allows users to create and share a calculation summary through Android's system sharing tools.
Sharing is initiated by the user. VialMetric does not automatically publish or upload calculation summaries.
A shared summary may contain mathematical values selected or generated from the current calculation, such as total mass, final solution volume, concentration, an optional mathematical comparison, and the calculation date.
Private notes and reminder settings are not included in the current shared summary.
After the user selects another application or service through Android's sharing interface, the selected third party handles the shared content according to its own privacy practices.
## Advertising
The free version of VialMetric may display Google Mobile Ads banner advertisements on limited, non-critical surfaces.
Current banner locations may include:
- below the Calculator's completed-result and More Calculations area;
- approximately midway through the Learn topic list;
- at the bottom of the Saved Concentrations library;
Advertisements are not displayed within:
- the safety confirmation flow;
- calculator input fields or the primary calculation result;
- Supply Estimate, Target Concentration, or Reference Comparison tools;
- Save or Edit Concentration flows;
- reminder editing;
- Settings;
- privacy or support content;
- dialogs;
- purchase or restore surfaces.
VialMetric offers an optional lifetime Remove Ads purchase through Google Play Billing. When the Remove Ads entitlement is active, VialMetric suppresses its banner-ad surfaces and does not initialize or request Google Mobile Ads for displaying those banners.
Google Mobile Ads and applicable consent-management services may process advertising-related device or interaction information according to Google's policies and the user's consent choices. Google Mobile Ads may collect or share IP-address-derived approximate location, app interactions, diagnostics, and device or other identifiers for advertising or marketing, analytics, and fraud prevention, security, and compliance, as described in Google's Mobile Ads data disclosure.
Billing purchases are handled by Google Play. VialMetric may store a local Remove Ads entitlement cache after a purchase is confirmed or restored so the app can hide ads for the user.
VialMetric does not process payment card information directly. Payment processing, refunds, billing history, and purchase management are handled by Google Play.
VialMetric does not sell user data or share local concentration records, names, notes, comparison values, or reminder settings with advertisers, ad networks, or data brokers.
## Data Security
VialMetric stores saved concentrations and preferences in local app storage on the user's device. VialMetric does not transmit saved concentration values to a VialMetric-owned server in the current MVP.
Communications handled by Google Play Billing, Google Mobile Ads, and Google consent tools are managed through those Google services.
No app can guarantee absolute security. Users should avoid entering information that is not needed for concentration arithmetic and should confirm all medication-related information with a qualified professional.
## Saved Notes And Review Reminders
VialMetric lets users save concentration records with a user-provided name and optional notes. Saved concentration names, notes, mass values, final solution volume values, and calculated concentration values are stored locally on the user's device.
VialMetric may also store local review reminder settings, including selected review days, optional reminder time, enabled or disabled status, and the saved concentration record linked to the reminder.
Review reminders are optional and local to the device. VialMetric reminders are for reviewing saved concentration information only. They do not provide dosing, administration, injection, treatment, preparation, or medication-use instructions.
VialMetric reminder notifications do not include medication names, dose amounts, mass values, final volume values, notes, or concentration values. Reminder notifications use general review wording, such as reminding the user to review a saved concentration and confirm instructions with a qualified professional.
On Android versions that require notification permission, VialMetric requests notification permission only when the user enables reminders. If notification permission is denied, VialMetric remains usable, and reminders may be saved without showing notifications.
## User Control And Deletion
Users can delete local saved concentration records in the app.
Users can reset the safety confirmation in Settings.
Users can also remove local app data through Android system settings or by uninstalling VialMetric.
Deleting local saved rows removes those locally stored records from the app database.
Remove Ads purchases are managed through Google Play. If a user uninstalls the app or changes devices, the user may need to use Restore Purchases to restore the local ad-free entitlement state.
## Health And Medical Disclaimer
VialMetric is a math-only concentration calculator for user-entered values. It does not provide medical advice, diagnose conditions, prescribe medication, recommend dosing, determine compatibility, determine sterility, determine solubility, or provide preparation instructions.

If you believe medication was prepared or used incorrectly, stop and contact a pharmacist, qualified clinician, Poison Control, or emergency services as appropriate.
## Children
VialMetric is not directed to children.
The Play Console target audience selection should match the final store submission. If VialMetric is ever changed for child-directed use, this policy, the app content, and the store listing must be reviewed before publication.
## Changes To This Policy
Joii Luxx may update this privacy policy before or after publication.
The public webpage will show the current effective date. Continued use of VialMetric after a policy update means the updated policy applies.
