Tracker Deletion Request

Request deletion of your Velora account and data

Velora, operated by Joii Luxx, allows users to request deletion of their account and associated app-owned data.

You do not need to reinstall the app to submit a deletion request through this page.

Delete through the app

When you can access your account, use:

Settings → Sync & Data → Delete account/data

The in-app process will ask you to confirm the request and may require you to sign in again for security.

Request deletion without the app

Send a request to:

Use the subject:

Velora account deletion request

Submit the request from the email address associated with the account.

You do not need to provide your password, Firebase identifier, authentication token, health records, meal history, or workout history.

Ownership verification

After receiving the request:

1. We send a single-use verification code or phrase to the account-associated email address.

2. Reply from that same address with the verification value.

3. After verification, we begin the deletion process.

4. If you no longer control the account email, the request requires manual review and will not be automatically approved.

Processing timeframe

We aim to acknowledge requests within 3 business days.

After successful verification, we aim to complete the request within 30 calendar days.

A technical failure or unresolved ownership issue may require additional time. We will provide an update when additional processing is required.

Data deleted

A verified account-deletion request removes applicable app-owned information associated with the account, including:

• Firebase Authentication account.

• Profile and settings.

• Food, meal, and recipe records.

• Nutrition and goal information.

• Water and weight records.

• Workout templates and completed workout records.

• Activity records and app-stored routes.

• Account-owned photos or protected files.

• Reminder and notification state.

• Trainer/client relationship references and private suggestions.

• App-owned Wear OS account snapshots.

When a trainer account is deleted, client-owned historical records may remain with the trainer’s identifying information replaced by non-identifying wording such as “Former trainer.”

Information not automatically deleted

The app cannot automatically delete:

• Health Connect information controlled through Health Connect.

• Google Play transaction records.

• Files exported or stored outside the app.

• Information independently owned by another user.

• An active Google Play subscription, when applicable.

• Velora does not currently provide a release-enabled Google Play purchase or subscription flow. If Velora offers a Google Play subscription in the future, deleting a Velora account will not automatically cancel that subscription. Active subscriptions must be cancelled separately through Google Play.

Limited retention

After deletion:

• Temporary deletion-processing records may remain through their security-expiration period.

• Failed deletion operations remain blocked until safely retried or reconciled and are reviewed within 3 business days.

• Application and service logs stored in the Google Cloud _Default log bucket are retained for 30 days.

• Administrative and system audit logs stored in the provider-controlled _Required log bucket are retained for 400 days.

• Account-deletion support correspondence may be retained for 90 days after the request is completed or closed.

• When reasonably necessary to investigate abuse, unauthorized access, security incidents, or attempts to interfere with account deletion, we may retain limited security records for up to 12 months after the matter is resolved, unless a longer period is legally required.
  
  Information required by applicable law, a valid legal request, or a legal hold is retained only for the legally required period.

Retained information is not used for advertising or to recreate the deleted account.

Future Privacy and Data-Use Changes

Velora’s privacy and data-use practices may change prospectively. Future features may use aggregated or appropriately de-identified trends about foods, activities, and general public places where people commonly hike, run, or walk to improve services, measure broad interests, support advertising, recommend products, or market and sell products. Before any material new use of personal or sensitive information, Joii Luxx will update the Privacy Policy and applicable store disclosures and provide notice, consent, or choices when required. Velora will not sell personal or sensitive user data, and future changes do not remove the account-deletion request pathway described on this page.
